PROFESSIONAL DESIGNATIONS
CERTIFIED NEGOTIATION EXPERT (CNE®)
The CNE® is earned by real estate professionals after successfully completing formal negotiation training from the Real Estate Negotiation Institute. With professional negotiation skills, agents are able to help clients obtain better results in the sale or purchase of their home. CNE® agents have a powerful competitive edge because of their ability to 1) communicate effectively to uncover more information, 2) help clients understand their options, 3) work collaboratively with others, and 4) resolve deadlocks. CNE® agents have a thorough understanding of how to negotiate effectively to help achieve their client’s goals. |
MILITARY RELOCATION PROFESSIONAL (MRP)
A REALTOR® with the MRP certification understands that when military staff and their families relocate, the services of a real estate professional who understands their needs and timetables makes the transfer easier, faster, and less stressful. The MRP certification focuses on educating real estate professionals about working with current and former military service members which helps their clients find the housing solutions that best suit their needs and take full advantage of military benefits and support that are available. Service members and veterans who hire REALTORS® with NAR’s MRP certification will have increased confidence that the REALTOR® will understand their specific real estate requirements and processes as well as understand available finance benefits and support. |
CERTIFIED MILITARY RESIDENTIAL SPECIALIST (CMRS®)
The objective of the CMRS® Program is to provide a platform whereby Real Estate Professionals can be trained and equipped to handle with excellence the home purchase needs of active duty and former military clients. Our military men and women face unique challenges as home buyers and sellers, such as repeated deployments, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, and coping with the invisible wounds of war. As a CMRS® I am trained to serve the home purchase needs of military clients. This is a way to honor the men and women of the United States military and their families, for their service to our nation, and to fulfill the obligation we have to each and every one of these heroes for the freedoms we enjoy. |
